Once again, through a lack of careful planning, we were greeted with 339 breaks having been registered on the trap, and once again, we had taken 279 pictures of a blank scene. Dissapointing at best. The camo netting can be so helpful, but has twice now cost us dearly.
I am off to JHB today, so will be gone for 2 weeks, but have my loyal assistant staying on, to help keep an eye on the trap for me. This also means that the trap will be out for it’s longest stint yet! Should be exciting. I have made the decision to go back to the path where I have had the most success. The shot can be changed to give slightly different results, and the path is easily accessible, (and not too dangerous).
I will keep in touch with ‘the trap’, and keep giving updates, so keep watching this space!
